Bethesda and 2K Games have released a couple of screenshots from Fallout 3, to be released on PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. The game is planned to hit the stores in October, with a collector's edition available.
Yeah I think the 300 endings is just marketing BS. From what I've heard the endings are mostly a summary of your life, so depending on your choices in the game you get different 'replays.'

Exactly what I was going to say. Bioshock in general used a very similar theme to Fallout, although it was no where near as well done. Hopefully Bethesda can continue the greatness of Fallout.
At any rate, i'm looking forward to this quite a bit now. I haven't had a decent RPG experience in quite a while and i hope that Fallout 3 is at least on par with Oblivion. If it is then i'm set for at least 150-200 hours of fun. Cause, i mean...there's just no way that this will be as good as Fallout 1 and 2.
As for the pictures...well, while it doesn't look terrible, i certainly hope the characters look better in motion. Also i really REALLY hope that Bethesda didn't f**k up the animations in general this time around.

Bioshock was inspired a little by Fallout and such. The art style, time period, etc. I remember reading something with one of the artists a while back where they mentioned that Fallout had inspired a bit of the art and stuff.

yeah sure its "Oblivion 2", just set in a different universe, different characters, guns, human technology, and happens to be 2 centuries ahead of our time. these guys are really winging it with the franchise!
