Xbox 360 PS3

Atari and Spark Unlimited today announced that Legendary will be released this summer on Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. Inside you'll find a couple of images and judging from the screenshot information, they are from both console versions.

Press release:
Legendary tells the story of Charles Deckard, an art thief who is duped into stealing Pandora’s Box. When he inadvertently opens it, he releases hordes of beasts thought to be fictional – such as werewolves and gryphons – into an unprepared modern world. A full scale war between man and myth begins, and it is quickly complicated by the actions of powerful secret societies. As the person responsible for releasing this terror, Deckard’s unwittingly become the only person capable of containing it once more and saving civilization from being destroyed by the terrifying creatures.

The 360 version looks better. Why do "developers" bother with the PS3 version when they don't put 100% into it?

to save money and make money , they make the game first on 360 then they see what runs and what not in the PS3 using the same 360 version , fix a little bit of the bugs , downgrade a bit in the parts were framerate goes down and cash it in.

PS3 version looks terrible in comparison. No surprises there then :|

Mass Effect/Gears Of War/UT3 are some of the best looking games available on consoles all using UE3, how can you hate it?

Nope, he just owns a 360. And the game looks stupid regardless of what consoles it's on.

I actually like the idea of fighting big monsters instead of nazis for the one billionth time in a FPS. Graphics looking decent too.

X360 version has some nice lookin' Griffins, looks really moody.

Identikit games that all have the same graphical feel to them. The wish that games wouldn't use a copy and paste engine. It would make it look different, even if it would look less good. It's usually very grey and dark.

It makes designers lazy and games identikit.

So true. Kinda reminds me of a poor man's Darkness (which was an ok game itself).

Bioshock and Mass Effect have a totally different feel to them, than say Gears of War. Although i agree a lot of games tend to look the same. Unreal Tournament for instance, but thats no more then logic considering its epics own engine and style.

Add lost odyssey to that list, looks completely different to any of those games. Its not about the engine, its about the designer and which ever stylle they choose or have the ability to create.
