Namco releases fifteen new images of Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm, planned to be released exclusively on Playstation 3 later this year. The screens seem to come from a gameplay video, thus explaining the bad image quality. In motion, it looks leaps better.

Naruto is one of the best Manga i've read, its steeped in Japanese mythology, and injects enough humor for the pre-/teen crowd and enough gore and ass kickery for the Older crowd..if you've unfamiliar with the manga, give a read before dismissing it.
Naruto, Bleach and one piece pale if compared to Guyver, Hokuto no Ken and Jo Jo's bizarre Adventures ....
just to name 3
I still snicker when i think about the the first pictures of this (the artwork ones). Lol. Ah well, the graphics are nice, possibly the best cell shading i've seen so far, but this game will be an epic fail in my book anyhow since a) it's Naruto and b) it'll probably have a complete lack of depth and will mainly be living on delivering an experience thrilling to the same crowd that finds the series appealing (that would be 9 year old boys).

Naruto trumps both in creativity, character development, and story themes/content, not to mention the storytelling, down to the fights are cleverly executed beyond power levels...its fan demographic, even in the US, is larger than either of you realize, especially the manga (one of the most downloaded weekly manga series of all time) ..in all honesty,to even mention "I, My, Me Strawberry Eggs" in a thread about Anime is just all sorts of wrong..i appreciate all types of anime, but your love of soap operas in cartoon form above all else, kinda makes you a poor judge of quality anime for boys or men who aren't "sweet".
So why does it get so many fans if it isn't good.
Besides Manga and Anime are very much a personal thing, what some may consider childish and immature others may not.
I would sooner watch/read something funny and light hearted than something dark, voilent and depressig anyday.
Anyways these screens look great, Cel Shading is good, but I think Idol Master and Eternal Sonata beats this.
Why does the wii sell heaps of consoles when the amount of good games is abysmal? Why do shit movies like spider man sell like crazy when great movies like Eagle vs Shark hardly makes it to the theater?
Also i never said Naruto was bad because it's not filled to the brim with gore or anything.
Now in all fairness i only read a bit of the manga and watched like a few episodes here and there but to me Naruto seems to suffer from the same assy narration as DragonBall and many other of these typical shonen series; The episode builds up, the hero gets into some kind of snag, he battles it out with some douche and loses/retreats, his friends cheer him on and he wins in the end - end of episode (sometimes they smear the same kind of idea out over 2 or 3 episodes too but that's the general recipe). I just don't find it exiting at all. Or particularly stimulating as far as entertainment goes. I want more, and that does not mean it has to be dark or gritty, it just means it has to be a bit better in terms of writing.
Then again, story driven series over 2 seasons usually suck dong imo.
It pains me, and I wouldn't buy it simply because of this
Tired of it
Also, I agree 100% with Megido that popular doesn't equal good. One look at any music top 40 chart will make that blatantly apparent. People just don't know any better. They simply may not have been exposed to to more obscure stuff.
I will disagree with Megido that Spiderman was a shit movie. The first and second were pretty awesome as far as superhero movies go. Unfortunately, the 3rd was abysmal.
And about spiderman; "shit" was perhaps a harsh word as the movies were entertaining. But that's about it. They weren't particularly good for anything more than a few exiting effects and as soon as i left the theater i had forgotten most of the movie already. And i don't think that's a good thing for a movie in general.
ps. English voice acting is always terrible in anime. Watch with Japanese voices or don't watch at all is my tip.
