Bethesda has released a couple of images from their two DLC packs for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The Orrery pack has been up for a while, and Wizard's Tower went up yesterday for a price of 150p.
I'm really glad that5t there is support for this game on the market place. Hopefully more devs in the future will be supportive of extra content in single player games to add to the replay value (ie Kameo).
nice - the 3rd Oblivion DLC, but again, not released in my (German) territory. Though I have the UK Version for 360, I cannot get the extra stuph. Hip, Bethesda, very hip . . ...
At least Europeans pay more for the games than Americans . . .. I guess that justifies it . . ...
I bought both the wizard's tower (called Frostcrag Spire) and the Orrery and I can say that both are absolutely stunning to look at. Frostcrag is a little more practical than the Orrery but you can pick up some awesome loot from the quest that comes with it.
You can still download content anywhere in the world. Get a silver account from a fake US address. Buy the content by loading up oblivion. Restart with your normal GT. Voila.

That would be the tower. When you load a save after downloading it you get sent a posthumous letter from a relative giving the deeds to you. All you have to do is go to the Imperial City market and pay to take the furniture out of storage.

i think its worrying that they are making people pay for this stuff....i mean its ok i guess now...but what if in the future developers purposefully don't put in parts of the game so that they can later release for extra cash?
Im calling bethsda out. Thats a bunch of bullshit. Plz 1.89+1.89+2.50 = 6.28 Thats about 1/4 of a 20 dollar expansion pack yet this does not even amount to 1/4 the amount of content in an expansion pack. Further more I believe these files should have been in the original game but where taken out for purposes just like this. Come on these files are to small to even build or implement into the game which suggest that they could have already been there but just locked as like the hot coffee. I call besthsda out on being 100% bullshit. I cant believe people are taking this with open arms. This just sets the stage for more publishers/developers to do bullshit like this. Take or lock content out and then release or enable it for a fee. I knew this was going to be a problem with the damn market place. I knew form the start when microsoft announced it.

7.52 Meg for a locked piece of software? Doubt that. Geometry and text does not take up much space at all. Textures would but they are more then likely just reused from the main game. I do agree with your point of pricing in a way. IF you were to have purchased all 3 that would not equate to 1/4 of an expansion pack but then again it is good you can select if you only want one part out of the 3 and not be forced to pay the full amount. I understand what you are saying but if you dont like it just dont buy it speak with your money. the locked stuff should have been free but oh well its not . there will be real add-ons in the future will you talk about them too? you should be happy that new content is even comming out.
It's a shame they have to charge ridiculous amounts for stuff like this, wow a house, 150 points, yet for about twice as much i could get an arcade hit like Geometry Wars, i'll be staying away from crap like this and throwing my money where it's deserved.

Sure you don't HAVE to buy this stuff, but then you're missing out on stuff that should have been in the game in the first place(If Bethesda is actually holding content behind on purpose).
That way you're screwed anyway, if you buy the extra content or not.
