I'm more concerned about the battery life of the vita if it's going to be pushing this kind of graphics quality. It looks to be stronger than a PS2 but weaker than a PS3

This game looks like butt crust but so do the PS3 versions so I don't attribute the bad quality to the hardware. I see other Vita games that look pretty nice.

yeah, the resolution will not be that noticeable.
be glad they are being realistic, unless all you want to see are 1080p fully antialiased images, like with some of the other fake CONSOLE images we get, that are complained about being too fake.

You really need to get over yourself, this is a hand held console. Its a gaming device you would use if you were in the back seat on a road trip to pass the time or in a public city bus, or Rapid Transit System like trains, its not like you need anything other than better graphics/gameplay while at the same time not wasting your battery in less than 10 minutes ;)
At least these are REAL videogames unlike the shovelware on those phones.

Looks awful. Sony needs to kill this franchise, it was ruined after Resistance 2. Sadly, Resistance 3 is a phenomenal game that no one played. I gonna go far as to say Resistance 3 was the best single player FPS of 2011. And I can't believe how good the controls are in that game, extremely great job by Insomniac.

You say the franchise was ruined after R2, and then go on to say R3 is a phenomenal game? So which is it? Did the series go shit after 2 or not?
Each game in the franchise, retribution included has shown there is a lot of ways to approach the universe. We've had arcadey fps's, a reskinned COD, a more personal character driven game and a third person shooter. They've made an FPS where a central protagonist ISNT needed. And thus there are far more stories that can be told giving us different accounts on the chimera outbreak. I want more resistance personally, but only if they continue to change the way each game feels. And so far they have done.
What I am saying is that everyone MUST play Resistance 3, it's a great game. But the sales were total lackluster, the game bombed hard everywhere. And it was due to Resistance 2, which I hear was a total pos
