Ascaron released the following images from Sacred 2: Fallen Angel, all of them from the Xbox 360 version. The game will be released next year, and will take place 2000 years before the first installment, that sold close to a whopping 2 million copies worldwide. The official website just got an huge update, so it might be worth checking out.

I played the original and found it a bit boring (must be because i kept comparing it with Diablo 2)

Although it was a good game the story couldn't grip me... The upside of the game was u had a multitude of different characters!

Yea, I don't know what it was about the first one that didn't quite get me excited, although it was technically OK. Maybe it was reading about the huge imbalances between character classes and after that it pretty much became an optimizing game instead of anything enjoyable.

In a functional environment MP should be fun, though.

Hmm, a top down action game. Don't see many of those around anymore.

btw, manager, is it possible to have links that appear in the text on site, appear in the feeds as well? "The official website" isn't appearing as a link in feeds for me.

I'd rather see a console version of Titan Quest... I've been playing that game on the PC and its loads of fun. Looks substantially better than Sacred too.

Looks good to me. The official site has some nice looking screens from PC version and this is going to be released next year so I am sure it is going to look good. But this is one of those games that keeps you playing when you try to find new items and get levels so graphics don't matter that much.

exactly what i was thinking when i sow the shots, wich is a good thing, cos i did enjoy that game, but graphicly i am not impresed. even Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance, which was 1 of the earlyest ps2 game, it looks better then this game on 360
