If the framerate's good and the pop-up isn't too noticable, then THQ has done a good job of creating a freeroaming game which uses the power of the 360 in a great way.
I'm really looking forward to checking out the demo when it hits the marketplace.
Oh I just can't wait till Aug 1st. It's gonna be SOOO awesome to get my hands on the demo (tho I doubt it's gonna be out Aug 1st because the Demo's NEVER come in time, like the Prey demo)
Looking forward to this one a great deal. Hell I bet I could play the Insurance Fraud mode for hours on end considering how long I spent on Stair and Truck Dismount! :)

If it's anything like Far Cry Xbox360 I'll pass, that was the most horrible aiming system I have ever encountered!
In regards to GTA style games I usually ONLY like GTA. Thats a franchise that I was absolutely in love with I use to play part 1 and part 2 like crazy. I thought to myself wow if only this game was put in 3D it could be the best thing ever and sure enough they did it. I'm looking forward to this game of course, but its like I'm devoted to GTA so much that this game regardless how good it is is at a major disadvantage to GTA simply because I've been a fan of the series for so long.
I'm open for trying new things though so I can't wait I hope the story is an interesting one.
Omg I see dithered polygonal alpha ala Saturn! Oh well PGR3 used it for fences and it worked and ran great. Whatever trick gets them closer to 30fps without totally annihilating the graphics is called fine tuning and fine by me.

Tell me about it, the aiming was just a joke. Let hope we never see anything like that again in any other games on the 360. Imagine Gears of War with that aiming control, man would that be a let down
i have faith that this will be the best GTA clone ever. even better than the real thing. (until GTA4 comes out that is). It nice to know that Rockstar finially has decent competion within this genre...
I hope this game has the natural ganster cool vibe instead of the trying to hard to be cool vibe.
From watching the ign vids it just seems wierd when you see these old non hip developers talking about pimping hoes and getting people in the hiphop-know to authenticate their work.
