Xbox 360 PS3

Sega diffuses some new images of its videogame Viking: Battle For Asgard in preparation for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. I really like the brutality within the hero and his adversaries which creates an explosive cocktail of really impressive battles.

I say, show me some gameplay, would like to see the FPS on this one, no doubt with this many characters on screen and with the detail they are in, their animations are going to be basic and repetitive.

I'm hating how publishers like Capcom and Sega are starting to focus exclusively on western themed games. They used to be THE two companies I could always count on for original and often quirky games.

Don't worry about that, i'm sure they're just "expanding" their publishing arsenal. I don't think they develop them anyway, they just distribute them. I know the people behind Viking and Trojan: Total War are British.

As long as there's a Japanese market, Japanese developers will continue to make the most creative and even weird games. ;)

From the trailer, it looks like the gameplay is 60fps. It was all rendered in-engine.
With that i do believe this game will accomplish for me what ninety-nine nights couldn't.

Fable meets Lotr?

Also Sega lost a lot of the dev teams that produced those quirky games sadly (they went independent if you remember, ie Smilebit, Sega Sports/2K, etc)

3rd and 5th pic remind me quite of Prince Of Persia: Warrior Within and thats only good thing. Damnit I hate microsoft for not making it backward compatible...

And I thank god, that they now make games with balls.

Spartan: Total Warrior was ace, and this is the same team.

Synce; The fact that the 360 sells sod all in japan, plus being the most successful high end platform means everyone wants in on the western cake. Unless the PS3 sees an enormous upswing, this is really what we have to look forward to from now on.
