Nice textures but overall the graphics look a bit dated.

Definitely. I think Counterstrike (not Source) looks better than this game heh.

But again, maybe the gameplay will be fun.

The game seems to have good and big locals ( in the trailers they show some of those Nazy docks where they dock U-boat Subs, and it looks really good ), so I just hope it runs well in all systems.

The earlier trailers months ago looked bad but the recent stuff looked a little better. Might be fun. Get some ps3 pics.

It is some kind of new procedural bm.

We can't be sure though, because it has yet to be named.

-But you get to kill nazies! Occult nazies to boot!

...Though in a WW2 FPS I would like to play as the germans for a change. That is in singleplay as well as multiplay. Amerikanische hunde!!!

The PC-version doesn't look that good. The textures on the sandbags are strange. What kind of texturing is that? It sure isn't POM or bump mapping, is it?
It's a low res normal map mixed with a high res tiling detail map.

There are many "good looking" games... be more specific, please.

First PC shot, back of the uniform, reminds me of Day of Defeat (not source) or Everquest 1. Pretty funny actually.

speaking of killzone, seems a helghast took a wrong turn trying to find helghan (pc screen 2)

i agree tho, it's another game that looks dated before it's even released. but considering the engine it's using it's hardly surprising.

I forgot that video games were all about graphics this gen. Seriously guys? If you've played the previous entries you know what's instore as far as gameplay (specifically multiplayer assuming they keep it the same) goes. But, I guess that doesn't matter to anyone anymore.

yep it's all about graphics.

One thing I loved about the last game was the sense of impact when you pulled the trigger on those guns.

So, I'm assuming this is built on idTech 4? Anyways, Raven soft disappointed with Quake 4, so I'll approach this with a twenty foot pole. Also, the second PC shot looks a bit amateurish as the texturing is amateurish (the symbol on the armor).

I think its more the modeling and the lack of seems that makes it look odd. It looks more like a big lumpy sandbag, not lots stacked together.

I don't know if any of you really remember when RTCW was released, but i do. It had the best looking character models of any game, and was arguably the best looking game around. It screamed quality all the way around. I still have RTCW, and its on this laptop right now. A damn lovable game, and the single player is still fun. You can still see how it was probably the best looking game at the time.

This new whatever it is doesn't scream anything to me. Not even Wolfenstein. I have a bad feeling that it won't even come close to matching the quality of RTCW. The graphics are already dated, the character models are just horrible(the hands come to mind first), and the lighting seems very basic.

Honestly, i just wish they would remake the original RTCW and update it with visuals that match the best out there. That would have made me much happier.

The trailer put to rest any concerns I had about the look of the screens. Definitely not the best looking game ever but in motion it looks good to me and I'm very excited by all the off the wall occult stuff.

My thoughts exactly! The trailer is a pain to watch. I remember the RTCW game very well. Loved it. I sure do hope this´ll end up well.
