Weren't they saying something about the game taking place in teh future? Everyone looks exactly the same as SC4.

Yeah, but remember tekken? It's even worse there... Here at least they replaced some characters completely and those who didn't age much posess some powers (Ivy has cursed blood if I'm not mistaken, so she shouldn't age. Plus you just can't possibly get rid of the gorgerous character like her) and Cervantes looks alive this time, so probably he just found a way to return from undeath just prior to 5th game beginning?
