Sony and Insomniac release ten images of Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction. It looks really good. We can't wait to try it again at Leipzig's Game Convention next week ! Update: Added a few renders.
Characters look fantastic.
Ground textures look terrible though...weird. I'd expect will all this extra space on their disk that they could get better textures.

Has nothing to do with disc space, its memory where the problem lies.
It's one of the PS3 games I'd really love to play, although my excitement has diminished a little once I realized it will basically be more of the same, only sharper and with more detail. Nevertheless, I'd definitely buy it if I had the machine.
Maybe Sony would do well to put the series on the shelf for several years after this game is released. That would allow everyone's anticipation for the next sequel to really grow.
The game is aimed at a younger audience. As a 22 year old gamer this game doesn't excite me AT ALL. But in motion that icy planet looks really good!! The engine can really do some great snow effects. That is all.
