This is huge succes for a game wich has ~67% on GameRankings and Gamespot problems)))
Kane and Lynch is good game with awesome scenario and atmosphere. I love it much more than Assassin's Creed, with has only Jade Reymond and cool graff

K&L was a huge flop in many departments. I played it through because I had to (work) but, boy, it was a pain. Two levels stood up to quality, visually and gameplay (Nightclub and The skyscaper infiltration) but apart from those, the game was really, really poor. Funny thing is that those levels were from the original pitch and was developed inhouse over a period of god knows how long. Sadly the quality in those level was not kept when the game finally got into proper development.

K and L plays like gears of war, but have a lot of glitch. yep. But unlike Geow, story is that thing that keep me played it untill the end. And after that stupid Gamespot story everybody think that K and L is shit.
pain gameplay is Assassin's Creed. K and L is fun. Glitched but fun.
So much for putting your vertical slice directly in your final game.
If only everyone else followed this example.

If it cost them under a million to make the game, and they sell 1.6 million copies, multiply that times 59.99 (dont even figure tax)...Yeah, a huge failure. It didnt sell like Halo 3, but who expected it to?
And they put the maps out for free, because they can. Every company can, just with Gears and Halo, and CoD there is more money to be had, so they take the idea of already having alot of money, and then make you pay for the maps, so they get even more.
Sad, I thought this would have taught devs a lesson but then we do have BlackSite: Area 51 and Army of Two don't we?
Oh and yeah, the current DLC business plan as it is now is a rip-off and nothing as it was sold to us as. MS and other publishers are raping such a cool idea by selling half ass games that need too many updates and sell DLC of stuff we should have had at launch or for a more reasonable price point. We need a freaking revolt like the one against garbage EA and their Bad Company DLC guns idea.
