Art style is really cool, but this would just look amazing on PC with higher res texture work and a lot of AA.

I think I will wait for some impressions for this one, love the art style but not too convinced about the gameplay.

I feel ya nos,i like the art style they were going for.Thing is it looks crazy as in seizure inducing during gameplay i would have to turn my color to 25 to play this one.Seems over the top just because it can be.

Back in 2D era video games that stood out was the over the top ones... like a fat italian mario eating mushrooms n getting bigger OR a blue hedgehog running like mad collecting rings. These days though most of the popular games are under the theme of War or Open World lol... pretty much real life in steroids.. so its nice to c some over the top action game - that it makes no sense.. but isnt that what video games should be all about? I guess Japan market still loves that fact while west world games keep trying to make our real world into a polygon porn industry. Bravo Suda 51 - Give us more weirdness - gives me reason to turn my 360 on again yay

Eeek. The art direction is horrible, imo. It's just messy. It's a shame because I think they are on to something, but it falls apart. There is no balance to the imagery at all, and the colors and simple shapes that are meant to do it are either too dark( ie, not bright enough), or surrounded by noise that make the characters and background blend together...

I agree though not completely. It's not horrible, but it definitely lacks the simple visual grace of Killer 7.

There are a couple on interesting things going on, but it just doesn't work, imo. They should get in touch with the guys who did Naruto. THEY know how to do cell shading. Not to mention animation :)

I completely agree somethings a bit off i could totally see this style working if it were...uniform instead of blasting me with all these random colors and such.

i will definitely buy it ... but yeah if i do it will later on once price comes down lol - i also dont go crazy about it anymore - just the fact that japan is the birthplace of videogames but i guess there are more people in the market from the western side then japan side... when 360 was out .. it was strongly focused at the beginning at least - on making the Japan market to 'Like the console - it was white and somewhere smaller than the ps3 - but the market has proven that more n more japan devs crossed multiplatform as the market industry has more gamers on US and EU than obviously japan .. n Japan games have stopped being the blockbusters for some time now even if they score high on IGN bla bla bla but i'm still finding Okami for example one of the best experiences i ever had in a video game -- or Nights into dreams HD on xbla are so random n enjoyable --
how many headshots do we need people! HOW MANY hahahahahahaha -- i'm not a hippy :-D
