THE game for me to own on PS3 in February (along side God of War 3 when it releases).
I mean cinematic feeling, gritty sci-fi theme, FPS, creepy enemies (Helghast), amazing sound from the weapons and environments, great visuals, the feel of the weapons...so much from just watching the trailers.
I seriously hope I get into the Phase 3 beta with the MP theme offer they did for the Europeans.
But the trailer...yeah definitely incredible. I like that Helghast leader, reminds me of RAAM from Gears of War but cooler design.
Anyway, can't wait for more of this title.
PS. I disslike the mowhawk style for the main character Sev, it looked better before than now, looks more a generic (hate the word) punkstar.
And if you guys noticed the famous "Mr Fucking-Convoy" (bandana guy), has black hair now, he had blonde :P
saw this a few days ago =} and dayam! it looks amazing! very close to that infamous cgi trailer back in 06! haha and decent online too! yerh I played the beta bwahahah! cant wait for the full game!
Is it me or has nobody said what I`ve been thinking all along about this game?....it looks as good as, if not better, than Crysis IMO. What this game is doing is amazing and I honestly can`t find a better looking game than this.
I have yet to see it for myself on my own 1080p tv set, but man, it does look jaw-droppingly good.

I would say its more cinematic than crysis, and also has the effects to create a much more dense and dramatic atmosphere...personally I think they are on a level...crysis has more explorable environments, although there is less clutter.
Ive played both crysis and warhead by the way, and crysis is probably my favourite fps...ever

haha It doesn't even come close to looking as good as that first cgi trailer, but really, who cares? The game looks stunning and is definitely my most anticipated ps3 game now that MGS4 has come and gone.
Why do people always compare Crysis, to any console game that looks great?,
Crysis cant be touched technically but i think this game looks better than Crysis graphically IMO, i have played Crysis maxed out on my Alienware rig and yes technically it has so many things going on, but for me it just did not wow me whilst playing, in fact for me i was more impressed the first time i played GOW1.
If the gameplay and fun factor match the visuals this game will be great.

I completely agree, just stating that other games can look as good as crysis in different ways...it looks incredible, but so does KZ2. The effects really stand out in KZ2 though...crysis does not look sterile, but it kind of does in the comparison
The game looks impressive, I like so much the colour tones they use on the game, and the lighting, smoke effects too (some explosions look a bit off). I liked the first Killzone, and I think this game will be a lot better. Best graphics on PS3 IMO, and all seems to be very big, great scale, like in Gears 2.
i like the movements and the physics and overall feel, this is a great AA title. (well from what i saw so far)
stop compairing to crysis, as i said time and time again, its in its own league. BUT crysis gameplay is not AA quality, its just good, but compared to how good gameplay felt when 1st played HL2, or halo1, gears1... crysis falls short.

to be honest, your opinion means no more than anyone elses...I made the comparison, Ive played crysis, therefore I think its valid....Ive played both HL2 and gears, I prefer crysis...opinions are different

Its mainly the single player that interests me here...I hope there are some fairly open levels...variety is important

anyways, this game is a must buy for me(the production value is really top notch), i really hope that sony properly market this game, i mean mountain dew cans, sides of buses, the whole nine yards. i also want them to release a really cool collector's edition(with figurines, art books, making of bluray, etc, and for heaven's sake not make it exclusive to gamestop, like resistance 2 did).
Looks like they added in a lot of random orange, red and blue to shut up everyone that kept on complaining about it being so gray. So now we got a lot of sunsets and blue and red blinking lights.
I think this game is so brutal it hurts, it looks grity,nasty,a place you don't want to go to but you have to.add to that the sound effects that are unrivalled thanks to the true hd 7.1 audio,you have a complete audio-visual package,man I really can't wait and what great start to 09.
First people compared the graphics to Halo, now that is has surpassed halo, people are using crysis...
Gamers are never satisfied are they? they just love to argue or cause another egg boiling pointless argument that might last pages and pages.
Games look good no doubt about that, got a feeling it might be short though..but the multiplayer videos look good and just like gears, might be a hit on the multiplayer front.
I'm all up for good graphics and cinematic feel, just hope the finished game won't end up like the original killzone..awesome graphics but bug ridden.
Releasing beta was a good thing, feedback always helps and damn am i jealous over the guys who got to play the beta ;)
