First episode of this wasn't too bad...nice art style, and voice acting. Framerate a bit suspect at times.
I do think it's a bit bs having episode 1 as a ps plus game this month though...it's become standard to offer the first episode of these kinda episodic game selling structures for free anyway - a quick look on ps store can tell you that's still the case. Sony's offers on ps4 plus have been a bit of a joke for the majority this year really.

difference being episode 1 of this is about the same length as almost 4 episodes of a telltales game. plus if you waited on episode 1, i'd imagine in a few months episode 2 will be on PS+ too.

They do on console...borderlands, game of thrones, walking dead, wolf amongst us...all have/had first episodes free. Borderlands and game of thrones are Telltale's latest games are they not?

Ah.. they stopped doing the freebies on Steam. I think The Wolf Among Us was the last one. Kinda reminds me of the shareware model.
These games aren't all exactly equal in terms of quality or content anyway. Life Is Strange isn't free on consoles either, so I guess it's more of a Telltale thing. My biggest problem with King's Quest is that there's exclusive content to the bundled edition. That makes sampling the first chapter for $9.99 a bit of a shitty deal.
heh life is strange has the first episode free too...that's why I say it's pretty standard model for episodic. But yeah, amount of content may differ from one to the next...content rarely has a standing on quality though

Nope.. it's actually a demo. You play the opening scenes of episode 1. At least, that's what the listing says on the PS Store, and the first episode is still available for $4.99.

Better than telltale's I think...more polished, and flows better...less broken animation. That telltale engine really needs to change now...especially for consoles which has never handled it great.
