This actually looks great. I admit Square managed to get me interested even after the trainwreck that was ff13. It would also be nice to see it on PC.

The lighting in this game is seriously impressive. Best I have seen in an open world type of game.

I would prefer some diversity, but that doesn't somehow make you more male. In fact, since I am male, I do find it pretty interesting that some guys always prefer to play as a female when creating a character in something like Dragon Age. I have no problem playing a female character if that is the main character, but I don't really feel like creating a female character in games where you can, given I am a male. Each to their own.

That's also how I feel, I'm fine playing a female where the story revolves around them but in an RPG I will always play a male because my decisions and actions are more relatable to me. The only exception to that is Saints Row and that's just because I find it more amusing to be a woman in it.

I don't know your guys' situations.

However as an eastern, who grew up with lots of jp games which always use huge boobs and kawai (or cute you know) girls as the main char. As you may know, some of the really good western games with the mid-age male or ugly female or bold man always sell far worse than those huge-boob cute face idiot games in jp or even some areas of Asia, that's just hard to explain even an smartphone game can outsell tlou or uncharted in jp

So I always prefer to use female more than male.

But this all depends, skip that sports genre, that's a whole different story...

Oh, still, the char design for you guys may not be strange, but all of them just look like some gigolos from jp, and that is why not only me, but a lot of eastern call this game gay fantasy...

Yeah, the look is a bit funny. But a lot of this style, I think it originated in anime and manga in the first place, people copying a style from anime and manga and then back again. Personally, I don't have a problem if someone is straight, gay or whatever. However, what we have seen so far, I doubt any of the main characters are gay. As for the style, I still prefer it to some of the more wacky anime stuff. Still I suppose in Japan guys who have these style are associated with pop stars or hosts. The guys in this game are neither, so it is the look but but not the lifestyle. I don't mind it that much. I agree on the doll-like treatment of girls in Japanese games though, not much of a fan of most of it. Also, yeah, some characters in western games look hilarious. Oblivion made all the characters have ugly mugs from hell.

Yeah, the look is a bit funny. But a lot of this style, I think it originated in anime and manga in the first place, people copying a style from anime and manga and then back again.
