After so many rumors, the future release of Team ICO Collection was finally made official today at the Tokyo Game Show. Needless to say that players are all very excited to have a chance to rediscover Ico and Shadow of the Colossus in beautiful HD. It will also be a nice compensation for the long wait that we are going to have to face until The Last Guardian is ready to ship. Images are inside and we will add the trailer as soon as we get our hands on a proper version.

This is excellent as I had pretty much retired my ps2 by the time these came out so I'll finally have a chance to experience them. Hope they live up to the hype and also hope it's true that they'll be bundled together for $40.

man, i own both of these games and have played both of them to death, but i'll be buying them day one, just like i bought the GOW collection. amazing set of games, if not the best last gen. the upped res, improved textures, solid framerate and 3D support is awesome. i can imagine shadow of the collossus in particular to look great in 3D.

I feel like such a retard for being so happy about this re-release, but i guess that these games do deserv it since i think the more powerfull hardware will make them better games. I mean, as much as i loved SotC on the PS2, having it running in full framerate constantly instead of chugging real bad as soon as you go outside the temple will make the experience a whole lot better.

ICO frustrated me a lot. They nailed it with SotC though, amazing game that has given me a lot of faith in the future of games.

I'm gonna need to replay ICO and try and have more patience. The puzzles were ingenious but for me it's in the same group as Myst. Games I'd love to complete but just can't bring myself to.

Two of my all-time favorites, snazzed up with hd and 3d.
It will be nice to play shadow of the collossus with a good frame rate!

Great, read great things about this game but never played ICO.

But I hope they can do more than res. ICO is probably 10yrs old game by now so the gfx might look bad. SOTC will be fine I think

i know why i always go with SONY, they have always the BEST EXCLUSIVES. MS is not good in holding their awsome EXCLUSIVES( NINJA GAIDEN, BIOSHOCK, MASS EFFECT 2) so i dont need a xbox lol. mmh MAYBE for GEARS 3.....
