Some weird choices here. Spider-Man 2099? Cowboy Captain America? It's like they're doing everything they can to not include the X-Men.

Well I love me some Spidey 2099 and he's been featured in the comics on and off in the past few years. Cowboy Cap is a bit weird but all the others are popular stuff from the MCU and the comics. Take us somewhere different than the first game.

toelessfoot Right. I think programmable shaders were adopted fairly early on consoles (xbox360/ps3) (6 Days ago)

MrWhite @toelessfoot: Well, only recently they have been. I think this is the first gen I've seen where PC's are playing catch up. Not through hardware power, but through development cycles (6 Days ago)

  • toelessfoot

toelessfoot Yeah I think innovations on the console side are taken up more quickly by PC than vice versa because consoles are really lead platform for everything (6 Days ago)

MrWhite At least for most gamers. Similar to when everything went to pci-e (1 Week ago)

  • MrWhite

MrWhite I think we could be seeing a dramatic shift in PC hardware where it'll be essential to own both an SSD and a next gen card with the api's to use them. That also would probably require new motherboards (1 Week ago)

MrWhite If a game is built from the ground up to take advantage of that, though... (1 Week ago)
