man, i miss those early fallout 3 addiction times. this seems lovely to fix that, minus the horrible, horrible chromatic aberration.

Still playing The Outer Worlds and doing my best to finish it before Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC comes out. The game is really great, it's not perfect because there are times you can see where the medium budget hurts it, but overall still a really great game.

Except the chromatic aberration I loved it from start to finish on my X. Finished it 2 times now to see different endings... really looking forward to a sequel with a higher production value.

It almost never happens to me, but I'm seriously thinking of playing a 2nd time on Supernova difficulty and choosing different paths. Something I've read a lot for this game, seems it just inspires people to play twice.


And it's not a short game either if you do everything, I'm still at 1/3 or halfway at most, I believe, and it's 23 hours already with most worlds still unexplored. Also, I do 2-4 different resolutions for quests to see how they play out and many are significantly different.

I'm doing both the Savior and the Board paths until the game tells me to choose one for good, hopefully with this I can just finish the good path with all quests done and then reload a previous save to only do the evil path and any exclusive sidequests it may have.

This game is really great. For anyone on the fense, it's on Microsoft's Gamepass, you just pay U$ 2 for 2 months and have access to it, Gears 5, and so many other games. Absolutely worth at least trying it for a few hours.

Just make sure to put it on Supernova difficulty and use a mod or Cheat Engine to lift the stupid constraints, even on Hard the game is very easy, specially when you get more skills, perks and weapons. Which makes the great combat sometimes feel unsatisfying. There's a way to change to Supernova with Cheat Engine, so there's no penalty to turning it off and on again as many times as one wants.

besides the visuals looking great, I really like the background music, its barely audible but its effective nonetheless

The Main Theme is really awesome, is giving me some "John Barry" vibes... the first 2 times I started up the game I couldn't get past the title screen because of the wonderful tune

Yes, I love the main theme music. But each world and some places have great music too. So if you like it, you will get to hear more by playing the game. And of course, playing the game is the main point. Win-win situation.
