Initially announced with a 2014 release date, Mad Max will eventually hit store shelves in 2015 has announced Warner Bros. The publisher also reveals a new short trailer showing why cars are the key to survival in the game's wasteland.
I think it looks quite nice graphically, although quite brown/grey. dropping into 2015 isn't doing the game any favours. Also, watching this you'd think it was a racer or something. Have we seen anything in terms of on foot combat? Hopefully it isn't a giant mass of nothing like just cause was and the lack of Mel Gibson likeness is disappointing, but otherwise, it might be good?
if some of you are having a hard time figuring out why the environment is so bland may i suggest you watch the film's and then you might understand why it looks the way it does, id like to see more features of the game as well as on foot combat if their is any which i hope there is.

Oh, i understand the themes of the wasteland...but a game is still a game. Travelling for 20 minutes between locations with nothing in between doesn't = fun. (See red dead redemption) if they have max in some random customisable car and not his iconic interceptor, and they have max, without his iconic FACE...then they have already shown they have enough creative license to make the environment interesting...now they just need to show it.
The graphics look good for right now, but I don't know about 2015. Especially into late 2015, im pretty sure we will have at least a game or two on each platform that will be top dog graphically, and by then, this game will not look ''good for right now''.
Also, some guy with a hammer, or spear? Why no combat, or shooting mechanics being showed yet. Aside from driving that should be the core mechanic.
I really don't understand the complaints here. It doesn't look terrible, far from it. At least visually it doesn't, and the concept could turn out to be a good one. Need to see more, and there definitely needs to be more to it than what they've shown here.
This and Aliens the two films I'd like to see justice to in game form. We may now end up getting a decent Alien game but I'd just as much like to see this turn out well. Fingers crossed but yeah it's a bit hard to judge anything at the moment

Everything they've shown so far has been weak.
