Five years have passed, and they still haven't managed to make the game look like the 2005 montage video. Right now we need a little more cinematics to this football game that keeps releasing year after year with udated rosters and upgrades that should be DLC. This is what happens when there is no competition. COMPETITION IS ALWAYS GOOD. The devs spend too much time on simulation and forget that the game is also supposed to be fun. There must be a balance of simulation and arcade. Like when a coach calls for a challenge, the player should have the opportunity to choose the best replay camera view that would represent as proof of argument.

oh forget the rant i just typed on the animation of the first picture, doesn't look any different. Man i miss NFL 2k. I'll keep hoping for the best for this franchise because the number 1 sport in the States deserves a great game.
Madden 2010 looks FAR better on my TV. What happened?
Anyhow, I feel bad for the devs making Madden games, it must be really tough trying to figure out how to make a game feel fresh or exciting EVERY. SINGLE. YEAR.
I love football, love it! But I never feel the need to buy a new Madden game even every other year at this point.
