The demo of Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom hit Xbox Live and PSN yesterday and allowed many of you to give the beginning of the adventure a try. As some may not have been able to do so, here is the video of the complete demo, which is about 15 minutes long.

Such a ugly game. When you have a Giant furry sidekick in 2010 with no fur shader whatsoever, you know this is a game lost in time.

Think of Majin as a Swamp Thing. Fur, hah.

I really like the art direction on this one. Gameplay seems to be of the kind that one needs to try oneself. I liked it.

I'm not going to say that the demo made me extatic, in fact it sort of killed off some of my hype for the game. The controls feel stiff, the combat was really bland and the voice work for the Majin is just awful. "Me push wall! Me make fiiiiiire! Me talk like retard, emphasize me big and slow!". Seriously, it jsu8t sounds bad.

The art style though...really, i think the game looks quite nice. It's not the most impressive game from a technical side, but who cares?

that is an insult to the last guardian. this game is utter shit. to utter it in the same breath as a team ico game is quite frankly, crazy.

The thing, it's not even trying to be Ico or SOTC, i played the demo and actually liked it. Did Ico let you stealth kill enemies? Did Ico let you sneak? Nah....this game ain't copying anything. You can't judge until you've played it.

Maybe thats why it feels so last gen !:)
And nothing against last gen,still are playing, but the developers game all seem a bit behind what current !

Maybe it's his style or they just have no budget or what so ever !

Well I think this game is beautiful! And I don't see what other people see as it being something better than people are into that makes life so dull.

The combat was ok... nothing special, but what really annoyed me was the terrible voice acting and dated platforming sections... This game might have been ok but the awful voice acting of every character in the game has really turned me off it.

I agree. The voice acting is just bad, worse than in a low budget B-movie. I also don't like the grainy low resolution textures. No sale for me after playing the demo.

I still want to play it, but i'll be waiting untill the price drops. No way am i forking out full price for it :P

I liked the demo, remind me of Zelda for some reason and that reason I don't even know what is it.

There is something compelling about his game, maybe its teh fact that even in the demo you can sense the bond the Majin and the hero are building.

It maybe awfull looking to some but I tought it looked nice overall, combat while really simple gets the job done and the combinations of finishers with The majin looked great.

If by the time it gets released I don't have a game to play I will buy it :)

Don't have any problemwith the voice acting.
