Well...that doesnt look like Max Payne at all. First two games were quite unique with all that dark story etc. If not the title they wouldnt catch any attention after this trailer. Dont get me wrong, it might turn out well but as much as I like progress this aint Max Payne at all.
Is the gaming industry so bad that everyone, now, needs to say, "THIS TRAILER WAS 100% MADE IN-GAME!!!!!!". What the hell? Also, this has nothing to do with Max Payne, too much color, but it might turn out reasonable.
The trailer is good, but it is(like most of the comments)too happy in a sense that the dark and eary "Max Payne" vibe is gone.
I really hope they are able to maintain the dark vibe, but I think Hitman: Absolution overtook that.
Let's hope that Rockstar Games is able to fix this.
I'm going to get into trouble now with Froz: it's americanised. It has become die hard. I'm still sure it will be a very good game, but it's not Max Payne. Where is the darkness?
>:8 RRRAAAAAGGGEE >:8 ;) I got what you meant by that from your explanation last time :). Of course, I love die hard, so it doesn't bother me, lol. I was thinking that exact thing (Die Hard). It is hard to see Max Payne without the night-time/urban/rain/snow, but I still don't care. I'll bet it is really good anyway...
Uh what looks so bad about this? I think it looks pretty good so far. Yes the familiar crooked mouthed max payne is gone, but shit that was ten years ago. He's older and represented more realistically now. And the first game was not all dark and dreary. I remember it pretty well. It was very sharp on my old PC and had some pretty colorful scenes. Give it a freakin chance

disregards the chock points of "skmirches", the traversel is pretty smooth. Higly recommended and a classic dying breed formula of pc action shooter. (1 Week ago)

i'm enjoying Control immensely and for a late last-gen game, going by the Disgusting on-basis unacceptable performance of games/worlds, the base console performance is pretty much decent, if one (1 Week ago)

YES! Love it.
I don´t understand.

Where's the psychological aspect of it?
Too much shit gets watered down into an action title this generation.
I think a lot of people are being very silly with criticism of this new direction. I think this game might end up under appreciated because of it.
I think it's refreshing to see a game franchise really move and develop.
