Bulletstorm keeps coming back with more videos presenting the game. In the first two CliffyB is the star of the show while the last one should remind you of a certain Halo 3 video.
I'm really liking the direction this has been taken in; there aren't nearly enough games which genuinely take the piss out of themselves and others. Plus, when two of your combo names are 'Sausage Fest' and 'Gang Bang', you know you're onto a winner.
I feel like this is the ultimate reminder that games are, above all else, meant to be taken as a bit of harmless fun.
When I had killzone 2 and resistance 2 at home at the same time after playing both for a while I chose to play r2 first. Why? It ofered pure fun and a tipical console felling. Sure kz has a great tech behind it but the story, character and most of all gameplay really generic. I m getting sick of games that have a really thick atmosphere serious feel about them and in the end they are based on the same mechanics that are here since last 5 years or more. I mean even the first kz was more interesting with its switching between the characters...
Bulletstorm seems to be my cup of tea then (i gues that now my post isnt completely of top ;) )

There was any other way to take them? its a harmless hobby nothing more, of course there is those that take them too seriously that they get offended by this type of humour or game for that matter.

Nowadays you get so many games which are focused on trying to tell a dramatic story, innovating within its genre or simply setting itself apart from the competition. Of course that should always be welcomed, and games should always be trying to push the boat out, so to speak, and showing that it can compete with other forms of media in terms of citing an emotional impact. But it's always nice when a game comes along and says: "We're not going to take ourselves too seriously, and we don't want you to either. We're just going to concentrate on being fun."
Yea, and while it's interesting there's not a lot of info there. It's a little disappointing, really, because Painkiller MP was awesome, and this looks like it seriously could be too.
Coop would probably be the best fit anyway, as long as players can work together to complete combos/skill shots, instead of running around doing their own thing.
You know like one guy leashing, another guy finishing it off.
Hopefully, if that's true, there are moves that could incorporate all 4 players, with each player adding a score multiplier.
Essentially making the team a Score Vultron of sorts
I'd like to see some versus MP too, if not just because this type of arcade-style gameplay is really non-existent. I actually thought UT3 was quite good, and it was a shame it failed to launch. I was hoping they'd have the oppertunity to try it all again in a different setting. I don't want it to emulate that experience, but if it offered something even remotely similar I'd be pretty pleased. I guess there's always Quake 5 and Doom 4.. but who knows how that will go over.
They might be having problems getting old school game modes working with the mechanics of the game.
I wouldn't mind some DM or CTF style game modes if they weren't totally annoying (I don't want to experience myself floating in air helpless from somebody leashing me, unless I'm allowed to skip it, though, if I'm somehow able to live through it I wouldn't be able to skip it), and felt competitive instead of "who can leash who first".

It's strangely refreshing.
Anyway, this being released 2 weks before DA2 means it will take a backseat at least a month, but it will be mine eventually.
Bulletstorm is pretty much the only fps that i'm looking forward to play. :)
Oh god, the diorama video, I loled so hard!
Looking forward to this game.
Nothing about traditional DM and all that.
