The Coddie's community manager was taking feedback of gamers on how horrible the yellow filter makes the game look. I expect at least a option to select more natural colour gradients.
i like the colour palet when its raining, but the daylight shots look like the race is taking place in the mid 1920's or something. this is the sort of filter they use in games where you can take part in historical races/fights or something. it looks weird.
i think it looks great. The shots from Monaco looks ace. So does the rain effects.
Yes, it does look abit wierd brownish in places, but it might be from the sun setting. From what they say in the video about the handling we should get something very playable and enjoyable. The spinning of cars, crashes and debris also looks better than average.
I still have my hopes up for this game. Codies, please don't let me down.
whatever people, this game is looking amazing, I love the desaturated color pallet, weather effect is just sick, I just hope it plays as good as it looks even though the story mode on paper sounds amazing. As a F1 supported I can't wait for this game, it I have just as much fun with it as I had with Dirt and Grid then I'll be happy (even though I think I will probably enjoy this more).
Hmm, September is like the only month I'll be doing nothing. Might as well pick this up, I was pleasantly surprised by Dirt 2, but the handling on tarmac sucked. It'll need a demo to convince me.
if you guys havent seen this in motion with the rain effects on you should seriously youtube it.. rain looks even better than it did in PGR4 - high standards indeed
I hope it drives more like Dirt2 then Grid.. Other then that I don't expect a fullon sim, knowing it's Codemasters.. But the game looks very nice, hope it pleases the F1 fans.. A good F1 game is long overdue..
"It's about making car handling predictable and consistent" wth? are they mad? I drive arcade with these characteristics- so thank you very much codies for making f1 game in such a maner. Again...lighting is just horrible when it is clear daytime. Even when it is cloudy the colors look more vibrant and bright in real world. It looks like all that matters to them is rain effects. Let us hope that this game will not be so PREDICTABLE!
