Microsoft has released 4 new Screenshots for Kinect Star Wars showing off the Podracing Mode. Click for more details and see the first custom Xbox 360 console with Kinect featuring a limited edition Star Wars theme inspired by the beloved duo, R2-D2 and C-3PO.

Many, many... many people will buy the bundle for the Star Wars props, not for the Kinect (game). Motion Control = fail (also Move, which isn't as precise as Sony wants you to believe).

Aw man those screens are so depressing. It looks so nice but we all know how shit it really is. I wish they were making a real pod racing game.

well no, no we don't, unless you have played the pod racing part, but I guess no one did so wait and see, no?

But yes, a new Star Wars:Racer is needed ASAP.

I saw some footage from Comic-con (can't remember what site) of the pod-racing part, and you can turn off assists, if that hints at anything. It looked pretty darn good, actually. The dev said that they are still implementing better and better Kinect software features, so who knows what it will be like when it's done. There are apparently several racing levels too...

The limited addition Xbox 360 bundle is awesome but I thought the white Kinect looked a bit bland so I fixed it. :p

(Although it's supposed to be metallic like Artoo's dome but it just came out grey.)

The podracing looks great and it appears that it does actually use the proper lever control system like the movie! (Except with invisible levers obviously. ;) )

By the way, from what I've measured the lag in the Jedi combat levels has been reduced from around up to 400ms to around 266ms, so hopefully by the time the game is finished it'll be down to at most 150ms lag so that it's basically insignificant. (Theoretically Kinect's lag can be as low as 102ms, in comparison the lowest a 30fps joypad-based game's lag can be is 100ms and the average 30fps joypad-based game has around 133ms lag.)

This will sell amazingly well. The best limited edition i've seen to be honest, and that white Kinect looks a lot better

Really awesome and I think the best LE console I have seen, but is way too expensive, hell Im a huge starwars fan and I will never buy that at that price.
