Rockstar Games has released 10 new screenshots of Max Payne 3. The game will apparantly contains some flashback sequences which would explain both different look of Max.

I think there might be levels where we get to play as Max Payne.
do you suddenly become someone different when you wear a different jacket? or get a haircut? news to me? better keep that in mind the next time i change my shirt. lol
this third max payne has more in common with max payne 2 then the second had with the first. at least his facial structure has remained intact. the series finally has some consistency in regards to it's main character, and that i am happy about.

I definitely would not have recognized him in most screenshots as being Max Payne unless Rockstar told me he was Max Payne.

really? even the artwork they did prior to releasing screenshots was a basic overlay job on MP2 photography. facially he hasn't changed between 2 and 3, other then age, weight, and head/facial hair. non of which define a person. jesus, imagine if it did, shave your head and you stopped being you.
i can understand complaints regarding the cover based shooter gameplay, since mechanically this game is going to be very different (for the better imo) but i dont see how anyone can say anything in regards to max himself, not after the huge change from MP 1 and 2. where he WAS a completely different person.
this game has the voice and the face of max from MP2, that's all i need to accept it's him.
I'm guessing this is going to have the biggest backlash with fans when gameplay is revealed, because no way is it going to play like the previous games.
It might excite people who are new to the franchise.
people please put a sock on it and wait for some damn gameplay. its rockstar we're talking about, when hav they ever not delivered greatness from any of their games? many of u GAMERS are saying u r not going to buy it and that's bull****, once they start showing what the games is all about then all those who said they won't buy it will be the first one's in line at gamestop pre-ordering it. so please put a sock on it and just WAIT!

on a different note......this games is looking more awesome everytime there's new material popping out.
Can't wait for this. Having these different era Max's indicates they are going to show a progression of his life? Maybe playable flashbacks? Should be good
