Konami has released a new set of Silent Hill: Downpour images (8 Screenshots & 2 pieces of concept art) showing more new locations and views of the town of the tittle.

I really hope this is the silent hill game we have been waiting for, but i doubt it. The graphics are way better than the Homecoming game though.

The graphics are well made and the atmosphere feels right. Looking good so far.
Now its just up to a decent gamepllay and nice sound. Sound is important.

Every here pretty much has the same opinion on the graphics and hopes for the game. I'm no different. I hope it lives up to the Silent Hill 1,2,3 and even 4 quality of psychological horror.

They weren't kidding with downpour, HE GETS WET! Wet technology, loving it since 2005 (SC: Chaos Theory).

looks pretty nice tho, i dont exactly have high hopes for it seeing as how the series hasnt exactly being going from strength to strength lately, but it looks nice, is definately setting a decent mood, now it's just the gameplay itself....we'll see i guess

I remember when I first saw the massive cave-in, as in the 2nd artwork, in Silent Hill 2. It was the first time in the game when I realised that Silent Hill is a f*cked up town. O___O I dunno why, but it really creeped me out!

As for this game: yes, the atmosphere looks great, so do the graphics. Can't wait for another trailer and more details! :D

Silent Hill looks like it's back on track. I'm so happy... ^___^

Shit shit shit shit shit...absolute shit. SH is known for original atmosphere and crazy camera angles. This is over the shoulder Alan Wake. I wish Konami would go bankrupt, they've dragged this series through the mud starting at The Room

known for having a shit camera that makes the combat even worse. yes, we already know that, thats why they are fixing it.

Cinematic camera is there when there is a purpose to the enviremont, not to make the gameplay even crappier every single second of the game.

And there isn't a single visual reference here to Alan Wake.

I can't wait, this will be my first silent hill game to buy, it looks great!!!! reminds me of alan wake big time, which is an awesome thing, I can't wait to also get my 3d tv soon and play this on that, omg....epic!
