Grand Theft Auto IV's upcoming DLC gets a new trailer, or rather a TV news report brought you by Weazel news. Once again, Rockstar does a pretty good job at delivering what we could call an exciting appetizer.
Yea that'd be a shame if it weren't awesome. GTA continues to keep things relatively fresh throughout the campaign, and the variety of gameplay is a lot better than you're giving it credit for. It managed to keep me interested.. which is more than most sandbox games can do.

No one spent 50 mil on a DLC. They gave Rockstar a loan of 50 mil without interest which they pay back with the two DLCs, the money is not some royalty. So what they did was actually paying them for both DLCs in advance (they would have to at some point anyway). Apparently R* needed that money at that time and they took the opportunity. And it's my guess, that this money was directly invested in new game projects.
They helped funding some Rockstar titles, what's not to like about this?

Most games are essentially the same. But it's not about the repetition or simplicity, it's how much you enjoy it.
Not interested? Don't play it then. But I, and many others, will absolutely love this DLC.
Oh and if you want to make a statement, then don't buy this. The moment you buy this DLC your point is made invalid.
