Xbox 360

Microsoft released three new packs for Ninja Gaiden 2 earlier this week, available for 200p a pack. Each pack has five colour variations of the costumes, and the gallery begins with one image of Biometal, two of Fiend Hayabusa and two of Shadow Walker.

To be fair those costumes look really awesome, but it was a pretty disappointing sequel to Black/Sigma and i couldn't justify wasting even more money on it. Here's hoping Ninja Gaiden 3 (which Tecmo said is already starting development) will be a better game. Preferably with a new engine aswell since 585p was a big disappointment.

Still, as customer you have the power to ignore those premium DLC's. Nobody is forcing you to buy them.

Tecmo / ms should give this stuff away for free... cahrging for every mini thing is just crazy IMO.. truth is, its just like hiscore said:

"as customer you have the power to ignore those premium DLC's. Nobody is forcing you to buy them"

I'm not buying though, and I suggers we all give them that same message.

I wanna say this is because MS got involved. When Tecmo published the original game they gave out the Hurricane Packs for free, and those were WAY more than a few extra skins. And at least with Sigma's DLC you get a whole new game mode (a crappy one, but still) for the same price as one costume, though I'm sure MS will say it's really five =P

People, do NOT buy these packs. If you do you're sending a message that you don't mind being screwed over. This is only the beginning of something much worse if you allow it to continue.

It was Itagaki's decision to release the Hurricane Packs for free, and Tecmo still made you pay for the lame DLC missions for Sigma.

This is a must buy for me. I find it very hard to resist, oh and mission mode comes July 25th. I believe they are charging because of the multiple lawsuits they are facing from their employee's. Its funny how they launched these the exact day after Itagaki's last day.:/

I have had the Fiend outfit since launch and I did a HUGE misstake buying the other two, they looks very diferent in the game and looks ugly, wish I didn't pay for it.

Ah well, learned my lesson.

After you buy them, do you also have to unlock them?Like "win the game at Master Ninja difficulty" or stuff like that?

No, they're available right away. When you simply load a game you can select the type of costume you want to wear.

In NG/NGB you got really great costumes for free. Now you see the result of giving the publishing rights to micro$oft.

Damn MICRO$OFT!!!

I am pretty sure in NG/NGB they didn't give out 20 costumes for free.

And still in NG2 you get 5 costumes for free, it's already on the disc, you just need to beat the game.

The extra 15 are for people who fancy a change.

Isn't that fair enough?

If you like them then buy them, if you dont then just ignore, easy, isn't it?
