Concrete Genie is quite a unique title as you'll see, the kind we want to keep playing to see if it can hold on to its promises. Sadly, with all the recent coverage we've had to deal with, we haven't had time to see much of the game, but we intend to give it the time it needs so we see for ourselves if what we saw in the introduction actually is worth our excitement. I really hope Sony keeps doing these smaller different kind of games even if they don't sell really well most of the time.

Agreed, i'll take three AA games over Days Gone quality AAA any day. Loving Concrete genie's art style.

Reviews seem pretty mixed. Maybe the game reviews aren't a hive mind after all? I love the style of this one though, but I can't say the gameplay has me sold. I'll be waiting for a sale.

I will take both especially considering Days Gone was the only open-world AAA game I can find in a long while that wasn't bogged down by microtransactions, endless busywork and the general idea of "live service" designed to milk the game over a long period of time with "recurrent player spending", but rather a complete experience that has an engaging story, characters, gameplay and just the right amount of quality side missions/activities from beginning to end. Both games are a result of developers given full autonomy over what kind of game they wanted to create under a publisher's backing.
