As every year, farm work is in the spotlight with Farming Simulator 17. More than 250 vehicles and different equipments are available to you to manage your farm from A to Z. Here are some PC videos, all captured from the tutorial mode.
There is actually a lot of adjustable settings in the game this time round. With FS 15 you could only adjust between a low, medium and high preset, with a Anti-aliasing option too.
Now you can adjust vegetation and grass draw distance, texture quality, shader quality. shadow quality and more. Its weird because the minimum system requirements, like 15, are very different from what I tried.
The game runs at medium to high settings on a Core 2 processor 3.0ghz and Geforce 9600gt gpu from around 2008 with no real problems. Its something that parents should be made aware of who are looking to get the game for their kids.
Well done to the team for releasing a decently optimised game at launch for what it is.
