GSY Video Wii U

Released on the 27th of September in Japan, Fatal Frame V on the WiiU is a psychological horror game, armed with only an antique camera that captures images of spirits. The player uses the WiiU gamepad as the camera to capture spirits, but must be careful not to waste the film in the camera.

More to come, just need to find the nerve to carry on playing.

Update: 3rd video added. It's getting pretty tense now.

I wish it weren't exclusive of the WiiU, guess I'll never play it. I love the Fatal Frame series, some of the best horror games ever made.

I love FF series, FF 2 is the best, I was scared so much playing that. 3rd was good, but not better. Then the series went to big N and I didn't have a chance to play IV and I probably won't play V :*(

The game looks good gameplay/atmosphere wise, but the visuals are from PS2 era (not a typo), sad. I wish this was on nextgen. But hey we have Kojima making new SH so I'm happy about that

I don't think it's "next gen" anymore. It's been almost a year.

..and the WiiU is still my favorite current gen console. Best library :P

Why is this game listed as "Fatal Frame"? It's called Zero. Even if you want to use the EU name (given that this is a European site) then call it Project Zero, but FFS, just call it Zero, as that is its name. It will probably never leave Japan anyway.

No, that's what its known as in America. In Europe, it's called Project Zero, which is rather closer to the actual title than the oddball American variant.

@Moroboshi In the Japanese version of the game when the player captures a spirit of the ghosts you'll see "FATAL FRAME" in English text in the top left hand corner of the screen. So, no big deal to having Fatal Frame as the title for this game seeing as that's what it is called in the States. Thanks for pointing it out though.

Japan, please buy the crap out of this game! We need it to succeed so that they localize it. They just dropped the ball on Bayonetta 2, but at least that was already getting a western release.
