A Plague Tale: Requiem from Asobo Studio and Focus Entertainment reveals its Gameplay Overview Trailer. The title will be present at Gamescom from August 24 to 28, with a playable demo for the occasion. In addition, Focus Entertainment will launch its "In Focus" video series on August 30, dedicated to the behind-the-scenes making of A Plague Tale: Requiem, in anticipation of its release on October 18.

Cool! The prequel was a great game with an awesome art style, superb graphics and an atmosphere from another world. My only gripe were the stiff controls. Unfortunately in this Trailer it looks like there hasn't much changed in that way.

The assets, lighting and image quality are top notch but the animations stick up badly. They are just terrible, particularly the facial animations.

wrong, there was nothing terrible about animation or lip-sync on the first game, othen than being what one could say was a deep rooted PC game for best or worst... maybe you played Ghosts of Tsushima by mistake?

That was a game with terrible lip-synch going on how everything else mostly well produced.

But then i recalled they were time period japanese people, they don't emote much.
