Microsoft continues with the very different and even strange TV ads for the Xbox 360. This time it's a city wide water-balloon fight that was first shown during the latest Lost episode.

Nice graphics, motion blur, and what looks to be like a 9999x antialiasing. Gameplay seems booring though. This is realtime? :p

but the jap "rolling stones" ring of light ad is the best

Well, considering our launch is 2 weeks after the US one, I'd say we will get some adverts in about 10-12 days. But that's just my guess.

good advert - clearly microsofts advertising seems to be geared towards family orientated games of the past - reminding people of the 'joy' and 'fun' they used to have whilst playing games

I think the ad was pretty good...you'd be likely to tell your significant or friend or something to watch it when it came on...like

"What the hell is this? Look - "...at the end they get you w/ the Xbox 360 logo.

Bottom line is MS is selling you more than a few screenshots.

i thought it was funny when the one kid sniped that girl from long range. Makes me wanna play...Call of Duty 2. effective ad MS!!!

Definitely better than Sony's offensive Jesus ad.

I'm really really loving Microsoft's new campaign. It really speaks to me! I have great respect for Microsoft for not hyping their console with pre-rendered cutscenes or technical talk, despite it being just as powerful if not more than the PS3.

Looked pretty godd. And it worked cause at work, talking to some people they saw and remembered? it. So that was theyre goal, and I guess it worked.
