More Steam Festival coverage with Omno, a game that has charmed us right away but that still needs to prove itself considering how short the demo is. If you have a PC, we recommend you check out this alpha version sooner than later, but if you only have a console, please take the time to watch our gameplay video inside. The game is developed by Jonas Manke and we can't wait to play more of it.

This demo was freaking awesome!!! So great, the character movements and the platforming, the visuals and the limited, but charming world. I spent an hour with it collecting everything. At the end of the demo, there's a very cool surprise that is really amazing. The demo is based on a 4 years old demo, but with updated visuals and a few quality of life changes. Though if it's this great based on a 4 years old demo, the full game will be epic. Wishilisted the hell out of it and now waiting for the full game.
For those wondering what makes this Omno so great, all the while as I was playing the demo, I kept constantly thinking of Super Mario 64. Of course, it's being developed by a single person and is his first game, so don't expect Super Mario 64's budget on an indie game made by one person, however it encapsulates the same joy of just exploring, running, jumping and moving around like SM64. That's all that needs to be said.

PS. Drift, I hope you checked or can check "Gloomwood" and "The Wild at Heart" as well. They both still have the demos up, so anyone can try them anytime.
Gloomwood is a first-person Victorian Gothic game where it's like Thief + Bloodborne, great 45-90 minutes demo.

The Wild at Heart is Pikmin + Luigi's Mansion + The Legend of Zelda with one of the best art styles I have ever seen in a game. It's a pure joy to play and should take around 50-70 minutes to complete.
