Oh well. I see a reason why though. Its the best reviewed single player numbered FF game in the last 15 years. If that's what it took to make a great FF game again, focusing on releasing it on a single platform first, I'll take it. Better then NEVER buying a crappy failure game like FFXV that was meant to be a single FF game but was simply never finished and definitely nowhere near that at launch.

Sorry, "shameless greed". Yep that's all lol.

Oh and don't go out, pandemic and all that.

It looks great. i think the game goes back and forth in detail though. from being incredibly well detailed to being very low quality with the textures. (a patch could probably change it.) the scale of the game is quite breath taking though.
and the colors, lighting, and assets blend quite well.

when you're not looking at some of the low quality junk in the background it actually looks quite nice. and everything blends together. it's got nothing though on Gears5 apparently. after having played that game. which is on the same engine. no clue as to why they couldn't make sharper background textures in this than on Gears5, given the higher minimum spec hardware. that is interesting.

is really the midgar backround top plate just a 2D matte painting, and not full 3D geometry? That would be a pet peeve to NO END, playing this.

i just noticed that actually. it's 2D. sucks that the hardware is still not there yet to do everything in full 3D.
it looks pretty convincing though. they did the same in FF13 and it also looked pretty convincing in that game too.
