GSY Video PC PS4 Xbox One

Star Wars Battlefront Beta will be available for all starting tomorrow, but here are two PC videos in 2560x1440, 60 FPS and 5.1 audio, but only if you download the files, our stream being limited to 1080p60 and stereo audio. More videos to come, including Xbox One.
Update: Added two PC videos showing the two other maps, still in 2560x1440, 60 FPS and 5.1

Note: flickering is caused by a bad SLI profile, latest Nvidia drivers were not yet available during capture.

Sorry I can't capture in 4k, maybe with ShadowPlay but the quality won't be good enough I think, too low bitrate for this resolution.

Thx for the 1440p footage (my native res), looks great..

I will play the open beta myself this weekend.. Probably gonna prefer 1st person, but who knows I might like 3rd person (looking at it not so much)..

Also, new drivers and SLI profile are available on http://www.geforce.com/ now.

Yes, Ultra settings, and Nvidia Experience updated the SLI profile, so in the coming videos there won't be any flickering :)

1080p 60fps on ultra
now I will try PS4 version aswell hard to pick it PC or PS4 :D

Played the beta (read: demo) for a few hours and really like it sofar.. Game looks, sounds and plays amazingly well..

This is the stuff I bought that 27", 2560x1440, IPS, 144Hz, G-sync monitor in combination with a 980Ti for.. Now lets hope the full game has enough content and will not be turned into a recordbreaking DLC moneycow by EA..

Well i will probably buy it on XB1.
Just bought a new 4K Monitor 2 days ago but to buy now a new GTX 970 or higher is kind of excessive. isn't it?

Not if you want to play games like this in their most glorious form..

A single GTX970 is not gonna be great for 4K though, you will need at least a 980Ti or even 2 of those to play at max settings with desent performance.. Do not forget 4K (3840x2160) is 4 times more pixels then full-HD (1920x1080), so it also requires roughly 4 times as much GPU power to drive.. Even for PC gaming 4K is still stretching it as single videocards are simply not fast enough yet to drive all those pixels fast enough.. Maybe in 1-2 generations time they will be.. Right now a 1440p (2560x1440) monitor is a better more afordable step up from 1080p.. 1440p is "just" 77% more pixels then 1080p.. And from personal experience I can tell you that resolution works perfectly with a single 980Ti.. A single 970 will start to struggle even on that resolution already if you want max settings in every new game, forget about 4K..

A 970 is the sweetspot for 1080p PC max settings gaming right now.. The 980Ti for 1440p.. Which makes perfect sense because 1440p is 77% more pixels then 1080p and a 980Ti is about the same amount faster then a 970..

that is excessive for 60fps at 1080p but that card will struggle at 4k.

yes!! I was finally able to buy a 980ti recently for my 1440p monitor and it runs this game like a dream!

i kinda agree but! GTX970 isn't a sweet spot if you think about the 4GB debacle.
GTX960 is the only card atm that has dedicated HEVC video decoding (Nvidia VP7). GTX980 Ti is a great card and it would have been my choice of course. But as i mentioned before no VP7 "only" VP6.
