Not everyone may have enjoyed Ghost of Tsushima as much as we did but we will stand our ground: Sucker Punch's new title is the proof that open world games can be built in a more organic way without forcing overwhelming content onto us. Game looks gorgeous!  They just nailed the art style on this game.  To be honest though it is pretty disappointing to hear that sucker punch still haven't implemented body physics in their games.  Seeing the same canned death animations and clipping bodies over and over just kind of breaks the immersion for me.  Rag doll in some shape or form has been standard in the industry for over 10 years now.

A big sack of weightless 0G bodies are funny to interact, but in no way help the interaction currently, like in no way it helped 10 years ago. Now a static non-interacted physics objects, that would be a complete last-last-gen world.

Properly implemented physics do help interaction and grounding in the world by allowing bodies to realistically interact with the world through contact with objects, ground, and other bodies.  This is why most good modern games use a combination of canned death animations with a transition to physics.  You can maintain control and the cinematic look they are going for, while still allowing  physics interactions.  It just seems weird to see all enemies stand around for seconds before falling down the same ways every time.  

Also, you talk about weightless bodies, but physics have come a long way recently.  I just finished my second play through of TLOU2, and never once had an issue.  The bodies are fully interactive and yet also maintain realistic weight and prevent weird clipping issues.  It just seems odd with as cutting edge as sucker punch are as a studio, that they are the only major studio not using physics in 2020.  I remember this feeling odd in infamous second son as well.  Hopefully by next gen they start to implement modern physics with their brilliant visuals for the full package.
