Fortunately, Chuhai Labs has you covered, and Wild Blue Skies might just be what you’re looking for, available today on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series. Based in Kyoto, this independent studio didn’t come out of nowhere as it was founded by Giles Goddart, who helped develop the very first Star Fox, Stunt Race FX, and 1080° Snowboarding in the 1990s, and it’s made up of a very diverse team. The game follows the structure of the famous Nintendo title, featuring progression that must be completed in a single playthrough, possible branching paths, anthropomorphic heroes, and, of course, tried-and-true 3D on-rails shooter gameplay.
