If you're a Virtua Racing nostalgic, chances are you've already purchased the excellent remeaster which was released on Nintendo Switch, but you might also be happy to know that Formula Retro Racing has just come out and it's a true love letter to the old arcade racing games of yesteryear. For €10.79, you get 8 circuits, one car model coming in different colors, 2 game modes (arcade and eliminator), 3 difficulty settings and the inevitable online leaderboards. Multiplayer is sadly absent, which is a bit of a shame as it would have reminded us of our time competing against other players at the old arcades, but it's hard to blame the one guy behind this game. Other than that, you get pretty much what you'd expect from such a title, no more, no less, but we've truly enjoyed our time playing.
