First 10 minutes Xbox 360

After years of waiting, Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor is here to bring the fans a sequel to a series started on the first Xbox. Unfortunately, no more pricey controller to play with, the game now features a combination of Kinect and gamepad and it's just terrible to play. Kinect is unresponsive at best, going crazy on a regular basis, which makes it impossible to enjoy the game. You've probably read a lot about it so we won't insist too much, but suffice to say this is the perfect example of how bad Kinect can be used. You can't imagine how hard it was to choose gameplay footage which did not cause severe headaches, so enjoy, or just stay away from it and enjoy the summer sunshine.

It does not, believe me I have tried, so have many reviewers in France and North America, to no avail. But I guess we're all wrong, right? Then again, you putting the blame on us when you usually seem to enjoy bashing just every single game (especially when it's Kinect related), I expected no less from you. ;)

That youtube video is nicely edited. Other than that, you can still clearly see how clumsy this game is at times. You have to use the controller with one hand while doing gestures with your other. That is just asking for problems.

By the way, I also edited our videos quite a lot sometimes. If I had also shown some passages when Kinect was going really crazy, it would have made all of you sick, especially when the camera kept going back and forth between cockpit view and "hood" view. ;p

Didn't this game just get an update that fixed those issues? Lots of people are reporting playing it fine after doing an update, while before the game was horrible.

game looks really good, I liked the intro video. This looks like the future of video games!

Kinet with coupled Sony's HMZ-T1 (http://ps3maven.com/sony-hmz-t1-personal-3d-viewer/) equals some holodeck level stuff.

I think after all the controller freaks have died out in a few hundred years this technology will prevail

Lair at least gave us an update to play with analogue sticks. (was still shit tho, but playable shit at least) hopefully from software will do the same here. Make kinect an option, not a requirement.

Kinect needs to be taken outside and shot. It's the worst thing to happen to games since the Wiimote, and it's so spectacularly awful it makes the Wiimote look wonderful by comparison.

I'm most angry that it's mandatory in the Panzer Dragoon sequel Crimson Dragon. What could have been a great game, assuming it's as good as the Panzer games, will no doubt be a train wreck, just like every Kinect game.

Unfortunately, I can't. See, Capcom said they would send us the game last week, but as it was getting late and we had no news, I borrowed a copy from a shop (someone I know works there) to make sure we'd have the videos on time and I gave it back after capturing the videos. That's why we couldn't post them before yesterday basically. So unless Capcom really sent the game as they said they would, we're stuck. I'll try to get some info about the patch, but I have my doubts.

But the box already has the Purple all over it so its got the KInect stamp of quality forever. Oh well this will never see a Games on Demand release in line with Microsoft's policies (when they won't take a game over stubbornish anyway) as it won't reach 1 million sales and DEFINITELY wont be over 80 on metacritic.
Who wants a bet it is on Games on Demand by the end of the year anyway?

I tried the demo, and I couldn't even get the tank to target or move in the tutorial, and gave up after about 5 mins. If they can't pull off the demo, I don't have any faith in the full retail.
