GSY Video PS4 Xbox One Xbox 360 PS3

We already showed you Destiny on PS4, and it is now time to show you the game on Microsoft platforms. Miguel and I braved hours of download and upload to capture Xbox One and Xbox 360 footage. As you can see, the old gen version looks pretty good. We should be able to provide you with some PS3 videos later this week.

Have played the beta on PS4 and X1 and unless you sit with your face pressed against the screen there is no discernible difference. Its a lot nicer to play with the X1 controller but i miss the touchpad of the DS4 for bringing up the waypoint. Im gonna pick up for X1 and have a mess around on it for a few weeks but theres so much other stuff coming out later in the year that will hold my attention more than this.

When i first installed the X1 beta there was the odd bit of judder but im sure its been patched because it no longer happens. I flick between the PS4 and X1 on my tv both running the game and they really are comparable. You have got to be seriously picky to pull apart any differences that may be there between the two.

The curse is just knowing it's better on ps4 I remember ACII buying it and thinking it was satisfactory on ps3 until I heard the 360 version was better then I noticed the tearing the pop in and all the other technical flaws. Knowing or hearing there is a superior version is like shining a magnifying glass over every issue the inferior version contains. What I don't get is that if x1 is the weaker console and the assumption was that the premium price was for kinect then removing kinect should make it cheaper than a ps4.

There are frame-pacing issues with all versions.
maybe the Xbone version just shows it more prevalent caused by lower res and jaggies.

How is the anti-aliasing on the PS4 version? I see some jaggies on my Xbox One and I was hoping that it wouldn't be an issue this generation (I guess I was wrong...).

The last gen versions look pretty but the "next gen" versions aren't too impressive. Played teh Beta for about an hour now too like the Alpha and I think I am done with it as the gameplay isn't that enjoyable either.

The beta is 900p on Xbox, That goes upto 1080p once the game is out.

a bit of an eye opener on last gen, compared to titan fall this is much closer to the next gen version with the obvious lower resolution and gfx effect's, certainly better looking.

maybe destiny 2 if there is one is next gen/PC only might we actually get a visual feast, i expect the reason why the next gen version looks a little bland is cause of the last gen holding it back, for now though i think ill be happy with the last gen version or waiting till march next year for the PC version (currently speculation for the PC march but we can all live in hope lol).

Well, just played the ps3 version...and there's no real mistaking the difference between that and the ps4 version i've spent the last few days on. It doesnt look bad on ps3...ofcourse the textures are of a much lower quality and jaggies are everywhere, and lightings nowhere near as good. Biggest noticable difference other than visuals though is the framerate...seems to really struggle, especially when in the tower.

I definitely wouldnt say last gen is holding the current gen versions back having played both it looks and feels like the main focus was on current gen and they've struggled to squeeze it onto last.
