GSY Video PC PS4 Xbox One Xbox 360 PS3

As usual now, we continue our coverage of games on different platforms and it is the turn of the Xbox One version of Far Cry 4 which, to us, looks perfectly identical to its PS4 counterpart. There may be differences but quite honestly, we didn't see them at all. You'll note that we deactivated the crosshair and a few HUD options to make the game even more immersive. Again, we should all thank the Xbox network for sending us a code.

IMO the game has lower resolution than PS4 , to me it looks like 1360x1080.

Personally, I do not like at all the AA that Ubisoft has implemented for this game. There is a huge and weird ghosting on objects silhouettes that harms a lot the image quality in my opinión, specially visible on fast moving objects such as flags.

On the X1 version and probably because of the apparently lower res, this turns out even worse.

Great game anyway, thanks a lot guys for the videos ;)

Looks quite good to me and really smooth too. You guys can actually see it's 900p? Has DF got their article yet?

Interesting. So Ubi managed to got it to 1080p on X1 too? I know they were shooting for it.

My bet is that it is rendering in anamorphic 1080p, but at a higher res than 1360 pixels on the horizontal axis. Let´s see what DF has to say :)

Yes it's running at roughly 1400x1080 on XB1 compared to 1920x1080 on PS4. Maybe like ~37% more pixels on PS4.

Is that the same as in FC3? Although wasn;t that just a very bad framerate at times?
