NBA 2K14 is without a doubt one of the most impressive titles to be available at launch on Xbox One and Playstation 4, as proven by our two gameplay videos. Note that, because the game hadn't finished installing, we had to play without the excellent in-game commentary. We apologize but we had so many games to take care of yesterday that we just couldn't wait.
Note: These videos were also captured yesterday, so don't be surprised to hear a few sound issues.

My my. One of the killer's of Lithuanian team in Eurobasket 2013. Tony Parker looks great in game.

driftwood please, the version on xbox one is exactly the same as the PS4 or the PS4 has the better version of this game?
i ask because i have a Xbox One right now and i want to play this game so bad, but i am buying the PS4 until the beggining of the next year and i want the better version of this game...

That's common in a lot of games. Reason being is the high LOD.

Anandtech mentioned they could see framerate dips in the xbone version...might just be an X1 quirk? digital foundry might have a comparison up sometime this century, so they'll be able to give you a decent framerate analysis.

Yes it does, it clearly does.. I'm not a fanboy at all but it just does look worse (this game). I in now way am favoring any console, I had a PS1, PS2, GameCube, X360, PS3 and go on.

Oh, it looks great on both systems. It just has AA and runs smoother on the PS4. I'm sure you'd be happy with either version.

have you played it on both consoles? so how are you judging the performances and saying the xbox one version doesn't have AA or doesn't run as smooth is kinda ridiculous... just saying* cause if you are talking in the reference to the video I watched now then I gotta disagree. This, NFS, fifa 14 are some of the games that look spot on similar on both systems.

Precisely. Since when did we have to play a game to know the technical aspects of it? With sites like digital foundry, lens of truth etc around, we know what framerate and resolution these games are hitting, we know when a game uses HBAO and bokeh DOF with a better implemented AA solution (PS4 version of NFS). The sites are there to determine which version is better. And with the exception of the EA sports titles which i've seen no comparisons of yet, everything is better on PS4, just like this time last generation, everything was better on 360.

If you're desperate for the game, just buy the xbone version and then don't look at the comparisons. Just be blissful in the ignorance of playing the version you have. If you intend to buy the PS4 soon anyway, maybe wait for that version.

the only difference is the PS4 version has AA and the xb1 doesn't. Theyre both 1080p 60 fps. Just get the xb1 version

i've heard reports of performance issues too, that's the more impactful issue, but until DF do a framrate analysis, we don;t know how bad it is.

Man they really fucked up my player mode for this game. The graphics are great but several features have been cut and a glitch not letting you save the gear for your my player really sucks. It's still a great core game but you can tell it's rushed in spots.

career mode is also insanely cheesy... horrible acting and writing. Cringed multiple times at how bad it was. Games fun as hell thought so who cares
