Sega released a bunch of images from the PS2- and PSP-versions of Outrun 2 Coast 2 Coast, also to be released by the end of this month on Xbox and PC. Some days ago they also announced a competition, where you can win an Outrun Arcade machine.
Anyway, the game looks awesome. Not a bad port of the Xbox-driven Chichiro Board to PS2, but what I am most amazed about is the PSP version. This little system seems to be handling this game very well, and with so few quality games for PSP, this'll make Outrun 2 Coast 2 Coast a no-brainer for adding to you PSP collection; which of course I will.
The console version I'll continue to play on my 'other box', as that is what the original arcade code is based upon. But I most certainly am excited about the PSP version of C2C. Sumo Digital (whom I assume is handling all the ports) has been working overtime and it shows. I am wondering when SEGA Europe is going to finally bring them in house.
