"Enjoy" these new images of The Matrix: Path of Neo, sequel to the running-gag Enter The Matrix. Nothing new here, except if you're curious to see how it is possible to drawn a 3D-engine just with one texture. Yeah Morpheus, you can hide your eyes with sunglasses, but I can swear I just heard you croco-coat weeping.

I don't think you would think the graphics were pathetic if you know that up to 1500 characters can on screen with independant AI. I'm hoping this game will be good.

Pff, normal mapping? I haven't seen a lick of normal mapping on a single screenshot yet, and if there is, it is such low level that it was pretty pointless. Maybe there will be PS2s 'version' of normal mapping that they will call normal mapping... but i doubt it's normal mapping.

Reguardless, the game looks good for current gen. I want it

So that's how they're abe to get so many smiths on the screen, they're like 10 polygons each.

Yup...Games like Kameo or Dead Rising are doing a much, much better job in terms of "thousands of characters..."!

I'm yet to see these 1500 Smiths and the normal mapping they're so proud of. But I have seen incredibly wonky character models and lots of different variations of the color green. Hopefully the game will be decent at least.

But I would like to have less Smiths with more detail on them, rather then hundreds of Smiths looking like taken from "Another World" on SEGA Genesis!
