The pixel art animation is what elevated the low-pixel gameboy advance+ds phoenix wright games, and gave its look.
This whole HD treatment is subpar and makes one feel like its playing some glorified MS Powerpoint clipboard images just blown up. Fuck this, in particular.
I wonder if they fixed the absence of idle animations that were in original Ace Attorney but not in mobile HD Trilogy. Small stuff like winking and scratching head, but it was still a bummer.
