Enter in the arena, become a champion... even I knew that much French. You didn't miss anything.

Also, that eye in the middle of the arena is taken from Kafka, and it's badass.

Listening to Tim Willits talk Quake at Quakecon didn't inspire any confidence in Quake Heroes. Lots of talk about teams and unique "hero" abilities. But they're allowed to chase trends like everyone else, I guess. And OG Quake players won't convert to UT, so Diabotical is the last real hope for a "pure" arena game anyway.

So.. hoping for the best.

It could be great, honestly. The ability/hero stuff is maybe outside of the original arena ideal of perfect balance, but that doesn't necesarrily mean it will be unbalanced I guess. Or bad. It won't be Quake 3 Arena. Diabotical will be closer to that experience. But maybe it will be good anyway.

Well...This "Quake" sequel or variation sure is different...there is just so much color...damn...it is insane if you recall the last game with that name on it.
