Video PS4 Xbox One PC

Bethesda released 9 minutes of pre-beta gameplay for RAGE 2 that showcase the game's vast and hostile open world, a new ability, drone-like aircraft gameplay and a heavily armored enemy. The game will launch May 14th.

Looks like console version to me, judging by the blurring in the distance and FPS drops. Hopefully the PC version is silky smooth like most ID games.

It's not an Id game. Avalanche developed it and it runs on their proprietary engine.

This game looks out of fucking control, in a good way, but maybe a bit too ADHD. Maybe I'll play it. After all, I was 1 out of the 10 who enjoyed the first.

I'm still amazed rage of all games is getting a sequel. And I'm even more amazed that I'm actually excited to play it! It looks great but most importantly, fun.

Mountain Dew, dorrito twitch gaming at it's finest. I'll stick with Metro.

I guess if you really like bugs, poor dialogue, bad AI and crappy missions, metro is certainly some kind of choice!

What's up?

jmd749 @KORNdog: I actually like the design, it lends for good ventilation and aesthetically speaking it's in the shape of the Roman numeral for 5, a "V". :P (3 Hours ago)

nostradamus @MrWhite: man, i'd kill for a console/griller combo... fockin' bbq hit! (9 Hours ago)

  • KORNdog

KORNdog I would honestly be surprised if both the next Xbox and ps5 don't just look like simple black plastic boxes. (1 Day ago)

  • KORNdog

KORNdog I can't imagine Sony coming along 10 years too late and adopting that styling when it's clearly not what is considered good design anymore. (1 Day ago)

  • KORNdog

KORNdog I just look at Sony's consumer design and it doesn't fit at all. Electronics are about clean lines and boxy shapes. Even in the PC space that fuck ugly vent covered alien ware design has fizzled out. (1 Day ago)

  • KORNdog

KORNdog @MrWhite: for the same reason they stuck a big metal.faceplate to the PS4 dev kit? I mean. They could have just made that a plastic box too. (1 Day ago)

  • MrWhite

MrWhite It looks like a big dirty wifi router of some sort. Which makes sense if you think about where gaming is going. Especially if they want to make the PSVR2 wireless. (1 Day ago)
